Twenty-Fourth Annual PTA Blueberry Run 5K Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk
Date: Saturday, June 13, 2009 (Blueberry Jubilee Day) Place: Poplarville, Mississippi (Begins on Main Street) Time 8:00 A.M. - 5K Run & 9:00 A.M. – 1 Mile Run Course: Slightly Hilly Entry Fee: $20.00 Pre-Registration, $25.00 Day of the Race (Tax Deductible) Awards: êGuarantee of T-shirt on Race Day ONLY if application is received by May 29, 2009. (Will mail if there is a shortage.) êDrawings will be held for valuable gift certificates & gifts, savings bonds, cash prizes, blueberry plants, free meals & much more. êParticipation ribbons to all finishers 12 & under in the 1 Mile Run. êDinner for two will be awarded to the overall male and female winner to a local restaurant.
ATTENTION YOUNG RUNNERS! Four $50 Savings bonds will be given away to entered runners who are 12 years old or younger.
Trophies: Grand Prize Trophies to Overall Male and Female Winners of 5K Run. Trophies to first three Boys and Girls, 12 and under in 1 Mile Run Trophies to first three Walkers in the 1 Mile Walk (Walkers must walk entire route.) Trophies to First through Third Places in each of the following age groups in the 5K:

General Information: We invite the entire family to come and enjoy the exciting Blueberry Jubilee featuring the sale of blueberries and plants, tours of USDA Research Center, musical groups, Arts & Crafts sales, entertainment all day, Blueberry Food Fest, antique car show, storytelling and much, much more! Food will be served all day by local civic clubs. We look forward to welcoming all our many past participants and those who will experience the Blueberry Jubilee for the first time. It’s great family fun, and we hope to see you on Saturday, June 13th.
